Donation Schemes


  1. General Donation
    • As required, a Loan scholarship is awarded from the general fund which is built up with the donation (any amount) received under the general fund.
  2. Donor advisory fund for IAAMJV
    • A DAF is a dedicated charitable fund maintained by a public charity (a "sponsored organization") that is exclusively dedicated to charitable giving. When you contribute to a donor-advised fund during your lifetime, you are eligible for an immediate income tax deduction. When your estate makes a contribution to a DAF at your death, there may be estate or inheritance tax benefits, in addition to income tax benefits.
  3. Loan Scholarship for Graduate Study in USA for Indian Students coming from India (LSGI Program)
    • LSGI Endowment Fund USA (EF USA) for $50,000: The interest from this fund is used for the award. This fund is operated similarly to the GoP fund except only interest is used to award the loan scholarship. Under this scheme, every year (once per year, either in the Fall or Spring Semester), a recipient (one eligible student from the list of applications received) is selected by the LSGI Committee based on set norms and the approval process. As possible, the donor is informed of the selection of the student and award or through the newsletter. The student may also be notified that an award is possible from the subject fund. The repayment is merged with the General fund.
    • Gold Patron (GoP) Fund Donation for $20,000: Under this scheme, every year (once per year, either in the Fall or Spring Semester), a recipient (one eligible student from the list of applications received) is selected by the LSGI Committee based on set norms and approval process. As possible, the donor is informed of the selection of the student and award or through the newsletter. The student may also be notified that an award is possible from the subject fund. The loan amount (repayment) is re-circulated in the fund for a future award. i.e. The award from the fund can be continued beyond 5 years, expecting that the first or any recipient repay his loan within a 4 to 6-year period. The amount of Loan Scholarships to be awarded will be a fixed amount for every year and based on the guidelines for the Loan Scholarships awarded from the General Fund. The current Loan Scholarship amount awarded to each student is $5,000. The amount may be reviewed from time to time by the Executive Committee of the IAAMJV and may revise (increase/decrease) for the following years based on the LOAN repayments and funds available.
  4. Scholarship for Underg Graduate Study in India for Indian Students (LSUI Program)
    • Endowment Fund India for $5,000: The interest from this fund is used for the award. A scholarship (and not a loan scholarship) of Rs. 25,000 is given every year to a student recommended by the donor for his/her college study (generally 3 to 5 years duration, as applicable) based on set norms and approval process. The student must submit his application to our Amdavad Office every year and then the donor has to inform the current President or Vice President of IAAMJV, USA with the student's name and other details. If a donor does not have any names to recommend, he may request to President / Vice President to select and award an eligible needy student from the list of applications received.
    • The donation is also accepted in India in Indian Rupees and a donation of Rs. 5,00,000 is required to open and activate each Endowment Fund. All other terms and conditions will remain the same as above.
  5. College Education Loan Scholarship for Under Graduate Study in USA for US Students (CEL Program)
    • CEL Fund $10,000 or Two CEL funds (each of $5,000) is combined given out to award a loan scholarship of $10,000 in the Fall semester for an undergraduate student studying in the USA (generally study spread over 3 to 4 years. The recipient is selected by the CEL Committee based on set norms and the approval process. As possible, the donor is informed of the selection of the student and award or through the newsletter. The student may also be notified that an award is possible from the subject fund. The loan amount (repayment) is recirculated in the fund for future awards generally after complete repayment.
